New Updates on My Robotics Work#

Today, I turned my attention from building to reflecting. Having developed a range of controllers for LoTIS, I set out to examine their performance side by side and to present the findings in a clear and accessible form.

The core of the day was a comparative analysis of experiment scores across every controller approach I have developed, from the deterministic, rule-based designs to the reinforcement learning methods. Viewing them together revealed not only which approaches perform best, but also where each one struggles and why. These patterns offer valuable guidance on which directions merit further investment.

Alongside the analysis, I prepared a presentation that distills these results into a coherent narrative. Translating raw experimental data into a story that others can follow is a skill in its own right, and it sharpened my own understanding of the work considerably.

With the evidence now organized and the strongest approaches clearly identified, I am well positioned to refine the most promising controllers further. The best is yet to come!
